Track your efforts to step up a level with CatEye's sleek, lightweight, race-ready Stealth evo+. This wireless computer uses ANT+ technology to display the speed, cadence, heart rate, and left/right leg power percentages, all measured from your favorite ANT+ device (sold separately). Use it mid-ride to stay on pace, then download your data afterwards for home analysis and find out where you have room for improvement. The Stealth evo+ is GPS-equipped so you can scrutinize your ride with your preferred training and mapping services. An optional auto start/stop keeps your mind on the road instead of on your computer every time you come to a red light. Other key features include a programmable full time backlight, programmable odometer, a USB-rechargeable Li-ion battery, and altimeter. Declutter your bars and get the most out of all your rides with the Stealth evo+.
CatEye has a winner with this device.
For the most part this is a 1 button device with the exception of turning the device on and off or starting/pausing a new ride.
The device is ANT+ compatible, which means that it will support any ANT+ Heart rate monitor, Cadence/Speed Sensor, and Power Meter.
The Device also supports GPS, and at the lowest measurement polls updates every second.
This product is essentially CatEye's version of the Garmin 500/510.
When comparing it to the Garmin 510 it has the following drawbacks:
1)No GLONASS support. This means that time to GPS fix takes longer (as long as a Garmin 500)
2) No stored route functionality
3)No Bluetooth support so no live activity plotting
4) Slower polling rate.
If you like CatEye's LCD display, and don't mind waiting for sync, go for it, its a great 1st computer.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend
